Its from Wigan - and its a processional - and that's about all I can recall of the history. If I run into Trefor I'll fill in a bit more. Oh and we made the cover of the Whitby Folk Week programme one year with a fine picture of us processing this one as we came over the swing bridge. Funny but I don't recall the bridge on the procession route other than this once, maybe we just improvised that year.
