Written in 1984 by John Earnshaw for the Portland Poklers a now disbanded team who were based in the Portland Building at the University of Nottingham. Taught by John at a workshop we ran for the Ripley Green Garters team in February 2007 we decided that having another sling dance in the repertoire would make it worth carrying the slings around and so added it to our repertoire on Boxing Day 2007. The Poklers memory must live on as this dance has been seen being performed by several teams around the country!
